Our philosophy
Most of dentistry starts with a plan. We start with a conversation. Your first hour is spent understanding what is actually going on, what you have been through, and what you want, before anyone talks about treatment.
Then we tell you the truth about what we find and recommend what is genuinely best for you, even when that means suggesting the option that costs less. You are not a case to be processed. You are half the equation, and the care works when we figure it out together.
Picacho Dental is privately owned, co-owned by Dr. Jason Lemmon and Dr. Lines, and has served Yuma and the Foothills for about fifteen years. Both of them are Yuma natives, and these are roots we take seriously: the people in our chairs are our neighbors, and we plan to be here for the long run. Dr. Madsen, an associate dentist at the Foothills office, rounds out our team of three doctors.
We now see patients at a second location too, Picacho Dental Yuma, where Dr. Lemmon and Dr. Lines see patients alongside their Foothills schedule. Dental pain doesn't wait for a convenient time, which is why same-day and next-day emergency appointments are open at both offices, and you can request one online any time, day or night.

What makes us different
Every new patient gets a full hour, every time, with our hygienists and assistants gathering your history and the dentist joining in to review it all and map out a plan. We understand your whole situation before we plan a single thing.
Extractions, implants, root canals, aligners, and sedation are handled here, by one team, instead of scattered across specialists. On the rare occasion a case is better served elsewhere, we will say so plainly and help arrange the referral ourselves.
Some of the best care we give is recommending the option that costs less, because it is the right one for you.
